51st Annual Meeting of Shareholders


Shareholders of Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Limited are invited to our 51st Annual Meeting of Shareholders on Wednesday, 10th March, 2021 at 10am. The meeting will be held virtually with a  Live Stream from Scotiabank’s registered address: Scotia Centre, 56-58 Richmond Street Port of Spain, Trinidad. Shareholders can participate in the meeting via this live webcast.

Thank you for your interest in registering for Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Limited’s 51st Annual Meeting of Shareholders.

Please note that only registered shareholders as listed with the Company’s Registrar can access the Meeting.

Special Business




Amendments to our By-Law No. 1 to facilitate the virtual participation and voting at meetings of Shareholders.

Ordinary Business

Financial statements – Shareholders will receive and consider the financial statements for the fiscal year
ended 31st October 2020 and the Auditors’ Report
on those financial statements


Directors – Shareholders will elect directors to our board. Information about each nominated director, including his or her background and experience, is included in the 2020 Annual Report. All directors are elected for a term of one year


Auditors – Shareholders will also vote on the appointment of auditors. The Board of Directors recommends the re-appointment of KPMG.


Other business – If other items of business are properly brought before the meeting, or after any adjournment, you (or your proxyholder if you are voting by proxy) can vote as you see fit. We are not aware of any other items of business to be considered at the Annual Meeting

Registration Closes Soon

Registration closes on 4th March, 2021 

This is necessary to ensure we have sufficient time to validate all registrations with the Trinidad and Tobago Central Depository ahead of the Annual Meeting date.

You’re encouraged to register early so if any challenges arise, they can be resolved.
